A portrait is not just a picture of a face β it is a story, a character, a moment captured between a gaze and silence.
In a male portrait we often look for strength, seriousness or elegance.
In women β emotion, warmth, dreams. But the real magic happens when we look behind the lens for what connects them: authenticity.
π· Every portrait I make carries a piece of the soul of the person in front of the camera, even if it's my own personal self. I like to take a selfie with my camera in front of a large mirror. The interesting thing is that you never know if I might have used someone's photos, but I really didn't.
