What a beautiful ship! I really enjoyed learning about the history of the Sagres and how it has served under three different navies over the years. It's amazing that a vessel built in 1937 is still being used today. Your photos are excellent, especially the black-and-white shots as the ship approached the harbor; they really give the scene a timeless feel. I also like that you included the story behind its visit to New Bedford and its connection to the Portuguese community. Thanks for sharing both the history and these wonderful photos.
