We managed to get Starlink up but it is still patchy due to location of it and weather.
Soon we will fix it.

Oh my another week! I finalised a first draft of my PhD this week, so I am really beyond tired. I hope that you get the internet going! The starlink thing must be interesting to see, if it passes over you at night where you live. I am glad that you did manage to get some rest!

Oh my, I cannot even think going without internet for so long at this moment. Last year, we camped in the mountains and the reception was so bad, and I needed to work a bit. It was hectic and sometimes such a struggle. But after all was done, it was not so bad either.
I hope that they manage to fix it soon! Keep well.

Oh yes, I can imagine! In our country, we have regular power cuts (you might have heard about loadshedding in South Africa). So, in the two hours that we do not have power, I always sort things out and get to things that you usually do not have time for! Even though it is frustrating, it can be helpful at other times.
Yes, i have heard about that. It must be hard at times. But… like you do… it gives you time to do things you otherwise wouldn’t or don’t have time for.
So it is a positive and negative. It all depends how you deal with it. 😉
Exactly! For now, the 2 hour ones are fine, but some days when things go really bad, there are 8 hour stretches without power. The problem with that is your whole day gets messed up if you cannot work. But again, as you correctly said, it is how you deal with it!
