A couple of weeks ago, I shared some photos I took of a cat I came across on the street. It's a calico cat, a rare type of cat with three colors of fur. Today, I was looking through some folders of my photos and found some that I wanted to share, as I really liked them and didn't want them to just stay stored away. I hope you enjoy them.
Hace un par de semanas les compartía unas fotografías que le hice a un gato que me crucé en la calle y es un gato calicó, un tipo de gato raro de ver al contar con tres colores de pelaje. El día de hoy estaba revisando algunas carpetas de mis fotografías y encontré algunas que quise compartir, ya que, estas fotografías me gustaron bastante y no quería que se quedaran solo guardadas, por lo que espero que las disfruten.
Stray cats tend to be very cautious and are always alert to any noise. In several of the photographs, you can see how the cat's attention was shifting from one place to another. This was due to the large number of cars driving down the street, making noise, and the cat undoubtedly turning in that direction, which helped me a little to keep it still for a couple of seconds while I took the photo.
Los gatos callejeros suelen ser muy precavidos y siempre están a atentos a cualquier ruido y en varias de las fotografías se puede ver cómo la atención del gato se iba moviendo de un lugar a otro, esto debido a la gran cantidad de autos que iban en la calle, hacían ruido y el gato sin duda volteaba ante esa dirección, lo cual me ayudó un poco a que se estuviese quieto por un par de segundos mientras hacía la foto.
Developing the photographs was easy. I just had to increase the exposure a little and add a touch more saturation to the colors, which looked a little dull because I took the photographs on a cloudy afternoon. Even so, I'm quite happy with the result.
El revelado de las fotografías fue sencillo, solo tuve que aumentar un poco la exposición, dar un toque más de saturación a los colores que se veían un poco opacos por haber hecho las fotografías en una tarde con un cielo nublado, pero aún así estoy bastante contento con el resultado.
