for Sunday some Spring growth

Spring growth

This post is for #SublimeSunday is inspired by @c0ff33a and #BeautifulSunday is initiated by @ace108.

Good Morning and have a great day

As I prepare this post a week in advance I still havent got out for any new photo walks so digging intomy shots from last spring for todays post

I have had a couple of days where I could of got out for a walk with nicer weather, but one day my wife wasnt feeling well and I didnt want to go out and leave her alone

and yesterday I could have gone out, but was so excited I guess, I went to fast down the stairs to our basement to grab my tripod which I had down there and slipped and popped my knee out of joint. I managed to get it back in, but it takes a while to settle down, so the walk just did not come to be.

Now I had been rejoicing the nicer days , but seems it was a teaser, the temps cooling down to low 40s as highs for the next week and even a chance of snow tonight, I dont think it will be much, but may be a week before a chance to get out for w a walk, but its gettign closer and staying positive

So for today as I said, I am sharing a few spring shots from last spring. These were all taken either in Haskell Gardens or Buttonwood Park here in New Bedford

I believe this first one is called Allium if I remember correctly

and this next one is maybe a Calamondin (also known as Calamansi or Philippine lime).

It is a small citrus hybrid, often a cross between a mandarin orange and a kumquat

I thought it was an orange but when I took this photo I heard someone talking just after and they said it was a Calamondin, which I had never heard of before

Good day, Mr. @tattoodjay.

It's a shame you haven't been able to go for walks these past few days; I hope your wife is doing well, and that your knee is okay too.

yes wife and I are both doing better :)
Have a great day

Sorry to hear about the knee, that must of hurt like hell! Glad you got it back in joint but will slow you down for quite awhile. Hopefully the warm days will return soon and you can get out, and may your wife be feeling better too!

Nice shots of the flowers and the calamondin! Those things are pretty sour if you ever try one straight. That must have been in the greenhouse as I'm pretty sure they can't handle the cold weather up that far north!

I hope that knee is doing better!

Thanks MY knee is fine now, it has happenned to me many times and doesnt slow me down for long ;)

Good to hear, take care of it! Do that too often and you'll develop some nasty arthritis!

LOL to late I have that already but hanging in there

I was told at 18 I needed surgery, and probably if I didnt I would walk with a limp and never be able to run, but was too stubborn back then and did a marathon 6 weeks later and so far hanging in there
