Today I will share a few shots of some of the ships at Battle Ship cove
Located in Fall River, MA, Battleship Cove is the world’s largest naval ship museum, featuring 5 National Historic Landmarks including the USS Massachusetts (BB-59). Perfect for a day trip, it offers hands-on tours of WWII vessels, PT boats, and a submarine, with tickets around $25 for adults (often including two-day access
That all said I still have yet to actually go into the museum, just see the ships from heritage state park when I visit there
Lets start witha wider shot showing it slocation under Brage Bridge its quite an impressive view and one day I do plan to actually go during the day when its open and check out the museum proper.

Destroyer Joseph P. Kennedy, Jr., known by her crew as the "Joey P," was laid down April 2, 1945, by the Bethlehem Steel Company at the Fore River Shipyard in Quincy, MA. Launched on July 26, 1945, and commissioned on December 15, 1945, she was completed in only 8 months, reflective of the fast pace of shipbuilding during the last year of WWII
also in this shot you may notice the submarine
It is a Balao-class submarine, USS Lionfish was laid down on 15 December 1942, launched on 7 November 1943, and commissioned on 1 November 1944. Her first captain was Lcdr. Edward D. Spruance, son of the famous World War II admiral, Raymond Spruance

and in this shot you can see the Battleship Massachusetts ( with the number 59) it was built in Quincy, Massachusetts at the Fore River Shipyard of the Bethlehem Steel Corporation. The ship was launched on September 23, 1941 and holds the record as the heaviest ship ever launched in Quincy. "Big Mamie", as her crew knew her, was delivered to the Boston Navy Yard in April 1942 and commissioned the following month
