Monochrome Monday a few recent shots
Good Morning and i hope you had a good weekend, mine was nice and quiet pretty relaxing for the most part, but I did get out for a couple of sunrise walks so a greta weekend in my mind :)
Starting the week as I tend to do with a few Monochrome shots from recent walks
Starting with this shot taken at the Haskell Gardens here in New Bedford, a really nice to visit especially in spring, with all the flowers and blossoms, but I got one shot I thought worked well in Monochrome with a bit of selective color to highlight the cool patina on this art piece
I actually visited there yesterday and met up with a locla photo/artists group, was a fun time

And this was from a walk I took at a reserve called Ocean View Farm in Dartmouth, its a nice walk out to a viewing platform, and everything was so green and fresh that morning that most of my shots from that walk will be color, but I thought this one worked well in Monochrome
I do love these old style wooden fences

This was from a morning where my walk was a bit of a bust, I drove to Mattapoisett and just as I got my gear out and started taking photos it started to rain, so I gave up and was about to drive home and while driving the rain stopped so I pulle dinto Mattapoisett Harbor and again got my gear out, took this one shot and it startedto rain again, so I gave up and headed home

And from another walk I parked by the Hurricane barrier wall and boat ramp and got a good walk in that morning, it was very cloudy so kind of dull and not much of a sunrise, but got a few shts that worked well in MONo including this one of the Cisco Breweries restaurant
