Duro 2 Horas: Faraon Love Shady
My song of choice on Spotify for today's post is Duro 2 Horas from the latin artist Faraon Love Shady.
After going through several genres that I usually feature in my posts, such as Argentine rock, hip-hop, reggaeton, cumbia, cuarteto, and pop from the 60s to the 00s... The truth is that I wanted to change things up a bit, mainly because it's getting harder and harder to find songs to share with you.
A few days ago, we were looking at a blend we had made with some friends on Spotify, where each person mixed several of their songs with other songs from the others. The truth is that you always get something interesting. With this option that the Spotify platform allows, I have obtained quite interesting results on several occasions, which I have had the opportunity to bring to you.
This time was no exception. I found a song by an artist that I found quite funny because of the lyrics, which I can't take very seriously. But the truth is that the song is quite catchy, and we often use it with friends to tease each other a little. I'm talking about the song that catapulted Faraon Love Shady to fame: Duro 2 Horas.
Faraon Love Shady is one of the most successful artists to come out of Peru in recent years, becoming known for his bizarre style and even more comical and crazy lyrics. The artist ended up gaining quite a bit of fame throughout Latin America after releasing one of his most iconic songs: Duro 2 Horas.
Since its release, Duro 2 Horas has been very famous thanks to going viral on social media, where it was used in many memes and bizarre posts on platforms such as YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram. This catapulted the artist's career and gave him the opportunity to reach audiences across the continent.
