Eiti-Leda: Serú Girán - My musical choice of the day and Rising Star Statistics

Hello, everyone! Today I will be continue to share high-quality songs, share how I discovered them, and share some interesting facts about them. To top it all off, I will also include several tables with the statistics compiled by the Rising Star game.

Since May, I have been creating a playlist to keep track of the latest songs I have discussed in my posts. This will help me keep track of the songs I have used so I dont end up repeating them. The last song I talked about in my last post is: Light Speed from my favorite artist Dr. Dre.

My song of choice on Spotify for today's post is Eiti-Leda from the argentine band Serú Girán.

Since I was a kid, Argentine rock has been a big part of my life. I owe a lot of that to my mom, who always listened to a lot of music at home. I remember that when I was a kid, bands and artists like Charly Garcia, Spinetta, Seru Giran, Sui Generis, Virus, and even Pappo were played quite often. At the time, I just listened to whatever was playing on the radio or on the computer, but as time went by, I realized how important that period was for my musical tastes.

Of all those artists, the one who ended up becoming my favorite was clearly Charly Garcia. Over time, I began to listen not only to his solo career, but also to the projects he had previously participated in. That's how I got more and more into the discography of bands like Seru Giran and Sui Generis, discovering a lot of songs that I now consider to be the best of the genre.

A few days ago, I was looking for a Seru Giran song to upload to a post, and I realized that there was one I hardly knew. I started reviewing several songs by the group, exploring their discography a little more, until I ended up finding Eiti-Leda.

The funny thing is that when I mentioned this to my mother, she told me it was one of her favorite songs by the group. So basically, I ended up discovering a song that had been close to me for years, but that I had never stopped to listen to carefully.

Seru Giran was one of the most important bands in the history of Argentine rock ‘n’ roll. The group was made up of renowned artists such as keyboardist and vocalist Charly Garcia, guitarist David Lebón, bassist Pedro Aznar, and drummer Oscar Moro.

The band began its career in the late 1970s and quickly became one of the leading references of the genre in Argentina. Their first release was titled after the band itself and had moderate success, as they were not following the same style of songs that Charly had had with his previous bands.

However, over time, the group gained more acceptance and ended up becoming one of the most important bands in history after releasing La Grasa de las Capitales. Despite not being a massive success, the first album featured songs that would later become famous, such as my choice today, Eiti-Leda.
