Huracan: Airbag - My musical choice of the day and Rising Star Statistics

Hello, everyone! Today I will be continue to share high-quality songs, share how I discovered them, and share some interesting facts about them. To top it all off, I will also include several tables with the statistics compiled by the Rising Star game.

Since May, I have been creating a playlist to keep track of the latest songs I have discussed in my posts. This will help me keep track of the songs I have used so I dont end up repeating them. The last song I talked about in my last post is: Ain't No Mountain High Enough from the iconic artist Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell.

My song of choice on Spotify for today's post is Huracan from the argentine rock band Airbag.

Since I was a kid, I always listened to a lot of Argentine rock, something that was heavily influenced by my mother. It's one of those things that I've already mentioned in other texts, but it always comes back in some way. Music was almost always present at home, and often what was playing was Argentine rock, either on the radio or on her PC. At the time, I didn't pay much attention to which band it was or who was singing; the music was just there, and I enjoyed it without really knowing much about it.

As time went by, and I got a little older, I began to recognize some of the songs I had heard during my childhood. Many of them were quite memorable, although I didn't always know who they were by or what they were called.

The other day, I was browsing YouTube, and as I was skipping from one video to another, I came across a live broadcast of an event taking place in my country called Parense de Manos. It's a show where various influencers face off against each other, and although it's not something I follow too closely, I sometimes end up watching for a while because some of the fights can be entertaining, although not all of them are.

While watching the event, a Spanish guest appeared, and for his entrance into the ring, he decided to play the song Huracan by Airbag, an Argentine band. At that moment, the song caught my attention. It's not that I didn't know it, but I hadn't heard it that way in quite a while. I heard it there, in that context, and then I ended up looking for it to add it to my playlist.

Airbag is an Argentine rock band formed by brothers Guido, Patricio, and Gastón Sardelli. From its early years, the band grew within the national rock scene and achieved considerable airplay on the radio and in various media outlets.

Their first successful album was Airbag, released in 2004. That album included several well-received songs that catapulted the group to local fame like Solo Aqui, La partida de la Gitana, Dejare la Ciudad, Ya No Recuerdo y Tus Ojos Me Engañan.

Huracan is a song by Airbag that is part of the album Una hora a Tokio, released in 2013. Over time, it became one of the band's most listened to songs and is often featured in their live performances.
