Hello, everyone! Today I will be continue to share high-quality songs, share how I discovered them, and share some interesting facts about them. To top it all off, I will also include several tables with the statistics compiled by the Rising Star game.
Since May, I have been creating a playlist to keep track of the latest songs I have discussed in my posts. This will help me keep track of the songs I have used so I dont end up repeating them. The last song I talked about in my last post is: Luna de Miel En La Mano from the iconic argentine band Virus.
Let It Snow! Let It Snow!: Frank Sinatra
My song of choice on Spotify for today's post is Let It Snow! Let It Snow! from the italoamerican artist Frank Sinatra.
My current choice is Let It Snow, a song by an artist I've talked about quite a few times. It all started thanks to the influence of video games, mainly a series that over time became one of my favorites because of its story and setting: Fallout. One of the things that caught my attention the most about that game was its setting, based on an alternate reality where the Cold War never ended and where the music of that era plays a pretty important role.
Later on, I ended up listening to his cover of Something Stupid (by Lola Marsh, I think), a song that I loved from the first time I heard it in the my favorite series of the all times: Better Call Saul. From then on, I started listening to more songs by the artist, beyond the context of the video game or the series, but because I liked the style of his songs, finding songs that I would end up loving.
During this holiday season, I discovered a version by Frank Sinatra of a well-known Christmas song called Let It Snow! Let It Snow! that I ended up really liking. That's why I ended up selecting it for today's post.
Frank Sinatra was an Italian-American artist who became one of the most important figures in the history of music. During the 1930s and 1940s, he sang with some of the most important orchestras, gaining considerable fame and recognition. His career began to take off in earnest in the late 1940s, when many people attended his concerts just to hear him sing.
Over the years, he released a large number of songs that became classics and are still played today, such as Something Stupid, The World We Knew, My Way, Strangers in the Night, and many more.
Let It Snow is one of his best-known songs, closely associated with Christmas, and even though it's been quite some time, it's still played in some places. It's not the only song Frank has made for this time of year; just go to his Spotify profile and you'll see that his most listened to songs are all Christmas songs.
