In this space I will be giving away STARBITS, sharing my experience with a song, telling how I discovered it, and providing interesting information about it. Then I will include several tables with statistics of the Rising Star game.

My song of choice on Spotify for today's post is Ti Amo of the italo-american artist Laura Branigan.

It's no news that I'm a big fan of pop music from the 70s, 80s and 90s. I feel that the music production of that era was on another level, far above what is heard today. Today's music tends to be more monotonous and, in many cases, doesn't highlight the natural voice of the artists as much.

My first experience listening to Laura Branigan was about three years ago, when I was playing GTA Vice City The Definitive Edition. One of the most popular songs on the radio was the artist's song Self Control along with I Just Died In Your Arms.

I loved the song, so I decided to do a little more research on this talented artist. It was then that I discovered that many songs, like Gloria, were the fruit of her talent. I also found new gems like Spanish Eddie, Power of Love, How Am I Supposed to Live Without You and, finally, the song I bring you today: Ti Amo.

Laura Branigan was an American singer and songwriter from New York, United States. She achieved worldwide fame thanks to her song Gloria, which was a re-version of a famous Italian song of the same name. The song got her nominated for a Grammy for Best Pop Vocal Performance.

Ti Amo is part of the album Self Control, released in 1984. This album was full of hits, among them Self Control, Ti Amo and The Lucky One, consolidating Laura Branigan as one of the most outstanding pop artists of the 80s/90s.

The new format will be similar to the one we used some time ago, using the Hive Tools application.
