In this space I will be giving away STARBITS, sharing my experience with a song, telling how I discovered it, and providing interesting information about it. Then I will include several tables with statistics of the Rising Star game.
After I finished going through the hundred songs provided by Spotify that I listened to the most in the last year, I have thought of adding songs of my choice from my "Like" list that has more than 1000 songs. The last song I talked about in my last post was: 50 Cent
Till I Collapse: Nate Dogg Eminem
My song of choice on Spotify for today's post is Just A Lil Bit of the american artist 50 Cent.
For many, Eminem is the most talented and successful artist in the rap world. In my opinion, while I recognize his enormous talent and the numbers probably back up his success, he doesn't even rank in my top 3 favorite rappers.
I've mentioned it many times, but I'll retell the story. My favorite artist is Dr Dre, who I got to know thanks to the movie/documentary Straigth Outta Compton, where he told the story of the N.W.A band he was part of with other talented artists like Eazy-E, Ice Cube, DJ Yella and Mc Ren. Thanks to it, I delved into Dr.Dre's entire discography and I ended up loving mainly two albums: The Chronic and 2001.
Dr Dre had a very successful solo career, but he was also a great music producer. He has helped numerous artists get their careers off the ground such as: Snoop Dogg, 50 Cent, Eminem and Kendrick Lamar. All artists that were tremendously successful.
Andre Young (Dr. Dre) was already established in the music industry in the late 90's, thanks to his album “The Chronic”. He had created his own record label called Aftermath, but had yet to find an artist to take him to the top. Jimmy Iovine sent Andre a recording of a white rapper from Detroit nicknamed Eminem.
Dr Dre was fascinated by his work, so he signed him to his label. The two worked on Eminem's first successful album: The Slim Shady LP (1999).
Till I Collapse is one of Eminem's best known songs where he collaborates with the successful artist Nate Dogg. It is part of the album “The Eminem Show” released in 2002.

The new format will be similar to the one we used some time ago, using the Hive Tools application. However, the application didn't always work, so this time we will be using a Discord bot that is in charge of returning a winner from among all the comments on a Hive post.
