In this space I will be giving away STARBITS, sharing my experience with a song, telling how I discovered it, and providing interesting information about it. Then I will include several tables with statistics of the Rising Star game.
Starting in May, I started to create a playlist to keep track of the last songs I commented on in my posts. It will be useful for me not to doubt if I had already talked about a song before or not. The last song is N.Y STATE OF MIND of the american artist Nas.
A Horse with no name: America, George Martin
My song of choice on Spotify for today's post is A Horse with no name of the group America and the artist George Martin.
Today's song of the day is one of my all-time favorites. It is a deeply calming song that transports you to a desert landscape. My first experience with it was playing one of my favorite video games of all time, Grand Theft Auto San Andreas. When you would get into a vehicle in Las Venturas and start driving through the desert, this iconic song would play, immersing you completely in the solitude of the road, surrounded by a desert landscape.
My second experience with A Horse With No Name was also in one of my favorite series of all time: Breaking Bad. In a memorable scene, the main character drives through the Albuquerque desert and starts humming this amazing song, perfectly fitting the lonely and contemplative tone of the moment.
A few years ago I was bored watching videos on Youtube, until I found a video of Grand Theft Auto San Andreas, where there was the Spanish translation of one of the most emblematic songs of the game: Young Turks. I loved the video, and when I finished watching it, the algorithm recommended me several more related videos. That's how I ended up listening to A Horse With No Name. At that moment, the song really got to me and I ended up adding it to my Spotify playlist with my best songs.
America is a rock band from England formed in the 1960s, which consisted of Dewey Bunnell, Gerry Beckley and Dan Peek.
The band achieved success after releasing “A Horse with no name” in 1971 with the collaboration of George Martin, for their album America which they recorded in the United States. The song was so successful that it reached the #1 spot on the Billboard Hot of the year. Currently, the song has 33 million plays on Youtube and 800 million on the Spotify platform.

However, the application didn't always work, so this time we will be using a Discord bot that is in charge of returning a winner from among all the comments on a Hive post.
