In this space, I will be giving away STARBITS, sharing my experience with a song, telling how I discovered it, and providing interesting facts about it. Then I will include several tables with statistics from the Rising Star game.
Since May, I have been creating a playlist to keep track of the latest songs I have discussed in my posts. This will help me remember whether I have already talked about a song before or not. The most recent one is What is Love by the artist Haddaway.
Always Wanting You: Merle Haggard
My song of choice on Spotify for today's post is Always Wanting You of the artist Merle Haggard.
Thanks to the influence of video games, I have been able to discover a large number of musical works that I would not have been able to discover otherwise. One of the most important series in terms of teaching me about music is Grand Theft Auto.
I discovered some songs in the Vice City version, but the game that introduced me to the most music was Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. This title has a wide variety of radio stations, each dedicated to different musical genres. Thanks to it, I discovered my first hip-hop songs from the 90s through Radio Los Santos, and I also started listening to American rock thanks to another of its stations.
However, the stations I mentioned above are not among my favorites. There is one in particular that you tune into when you get into a vehicle in a rural area, where you can listen to all country music: K-Rose. I've always liked the instrumentals in country songs, so I can say that practically all the songs on K-Rose are among my favorites and are truly great hits. One example is Always Wanting You by Merle Haggard.
Merle Haggard is one of the most important musicians in the history of American country music. He grew up in California, where he had a rather difficult childhood, which led him to spend several years of his childhood in reform schools.
After leaving prison, he managed to turn his life around and began a musical career that led him to become one of the most important artists in the genre. Examples of this are his songs “Mama Tried,” “Sing Me Back Home,” and “Always Wanting You.”
Always Wanting You is a song released in 1975 by Merle Haggard for his album Keep Movin' On. This song became even more famous after being included in the soundtrack of the famous video game Grand Theft Auto San Andreas.

The new format will be similar to the one we used some time ago with the Hive Tools application. However, since that app didn’t always work reliably, this time we’ll be using a Discord bot to select a winner from all the comments on a Hive post. The rewards have also increased, reaching 150,000 STARBITS in February.
