In this space I will be giving away STARBITS, sharing my experience with a song, telling how I discovered it, and providing interesting information about it. Then I will include several tables with statistics of the Rising Star game.
Starting in May, I started to create a playlist to keep track of the last songs I commented on in my posts. It will be useful for me not to doubt if I had already talked about a song before or not. The last song is A Horse With No Name of the group America and the artist George Martin.
Crimen: Gustavo Cerati
My song of choice on Spotify for today's post is Crimen of the legendary argentine artist Gustavo Cerati.
Since my childhood I have been influenced by Argentine National Rock. The time of the boom of this genre, fit with my mother's youth, so it was always normal to listen to these songs at home. Thanks to her, I have known artists like Charly Garcia, Gustavo Cerati, Luis Alberto Spinetta, Miguel Abuelo, Andres Calamaro and many more.
If you ask anyone in Argentina which is the most important national rock band, even someone unfamiliar with the genre, they will most likely answer Soda Stereo, as it is the most popular and recognized. Soda Stereo is led by one of the most legendary artists Argentina has ever produced: Gustavo Cerati.
A few years ago, I started listening to a lot of Argentine national rock of that time, so I came across artists like Charly Garcia, Spinetta, Pappo and Miguel Abuelo. Until that time, I didn't understand why some people considered Gustavo Cerati to be bigger than Charly, but that changed when I started listening to his solo work. I have really enjoyed Cerati's albums such as Amor Amarillo, Siempre es Hoy and Ahi Vamos. Although I still believe that he doesn't surpass Charly García, I feel that Cerati is almost on the same level.
Gustavo Cerati was born in 1959 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He was a singer, guitarist and composer known mainly for his time in Soda Stereo, one of the most successful Rock en Español bands of all time.
After the dissolution of the band, Cerati started his solo career and released very successful albums such as Bocanada, Siempre es Hoy, Ahi Vamos and Fuerza Natural.
In his third album called “Ahi Vamos”, is one of the most famous songs of his solo career: Crimen. This song has 347 million plays on Spotify and 140 million on the Youtube platform.

The new format will be similar to the one we used some time ago, using the Hive Tools application. However, the application didn't always work, so this time we will be using a Discord bot that is in charge of returning a winner from among all the comments on a Hive post.
