Rising Star - My Daily song choice, Daily Rising Star statistics and giveaway of 150,000 starbits - Mirala Bien: Wisin & Yandel

In this space I will be giving away STARBITS, sharing my experience with a song, telling how I discovered it, and providing interesting information about it. Then I will include several tables with statistics of the Rising Star game.

Starting in May, I started to create a playlist to keep track of the last songs I commented on in my posts. It will be useful for me not to doubt if I had already talked about a song before or not. The last song is Mother of the heavy-metal group Danzig.

My song of choice on Spotify for today's post is Mirala Bien of the reggeaton duo Wisin & Yandel.

A few times I have commented that Reggeaton is not one of my favorite genres. I think it was the beginning of the decline of music at the Latin level, that I consider that nowadays creativity and songs with a good instrumental base are not common currency, at least in a popular way. However, I can't deny that during my childhood I have been quite surrounded by Reggeaton and that some songs from the 2000's I like quite a lot and they are quite catchy to sing along to.

My favorite artists of this genre are the iconic Don Omar, Wisin y Yandel, and Daddy Yankee in their early albums. Listening to their songs takes me back to when I was less than ten years old, at a time when their music was all the rage and played everywhere. Honestly, when comparing it with today's music, there is still a considerable difference and a clear superiority in terms of quality and style.

I have several songs that I like a lot from the musical duo Wisin y Yandel, if I had to choose one, it would be “Rakata”, “Noche De Sexo” or “Abusora”. But this time, my choice is Mirala Bien.

Wisin and Yandel are one of the most important duos in the history of reggaeton. They began their career in the late 1990s and achieved international recognition after several years of work, consolidating their popularity in 2005 with the release of their successful album Pa'l Mundo. This album includes several of their greatest hits, such as Rakata, Llamé Pa' Verte, Mirala Bien and Noche de Sexo, which marked a turning point in their careers.

The new format will be similar to the one we used some time ago, using the Hive Tools application.
