In this space I will be giving away STARBITS, sharing my experience with a song, telling how I discovered it, and providing interesting information about it. Then I will include several tables with statistics of the Rising Star game.
Starting in May, I started to create a playlist to keep track of the last songs I commented on in my posts. It will be useful for me not to doubt if I had already talked about a song before or not. The last song is Hold the Line of the american group Toto.

A few years ago I started watching a documentary that caught my attention with its name “Letras Explicitas” (Explicit Lyrics). The documentary tells the story of a group from Los Angeles, California called N.W.A (Niggas With Attitudes). The group was formed by artists I already knew from their solo stage, such as Dr. Dre and Ice Cube, which aroused my interest even more when I realized that detail.
After learning about the end of the band, I started to investigate more about how the different members of the band continued their career. I ended up discovering one of my favorite diss tracks like “No Vaseline” by Ice Cube, where he makes a tirade to all the ex-members of N.W.A and the band's manager Jerry Teller.
Dr. Dre released his first solo album with a collaboration with an artist named “Snoop Dogg”. At the time, Snoppy was not even known nationally, because his hits would come after his collaboration with Dr. Dre. The collaboration took place in Nuthin But a G Thang of the album The Chronic released in 1982, where Dr. Dre takes the opportunity to criticize both former N.W.A members, such as Eazy-E and Ice Cube, as well as several East Coast rappers. The song has 500 million plays on the Spotify platform and 30 million plays on Youtube and is considered one of the artist's biggest hits.
Nuthin But a G Thang was one of the first songs I heard from Dr. Dre along with Still. Over time, the artist became my favorite producer in the entire genre, not only for his talent as a rapper, but for his enormous influence behind the scenes. He was responsible for launching and consolidating the careers of such greats as Snoop Dogg, Eminem, 50 Cent, among many others.
Before announcing the winner of tonight's giveaway. I will share my game statistics on Rising Star, which I gathered using a tool that I created in Rising Star Utils. The new format will be similar to the one we used some time ago, using the Hive Tools application. However, the application didn't always work, so this time we will be using a Discord bot that is in charge of returning a winner from among all the comments on a Hive post.
