Rising Star - My Daily song choice, Daily Rising Star statistics and giveaway of 150,000 starbits - Tu Amor: Charly Garcia & Pedro Aznar

In this space I will be giving away STARBITS, sharing my experience with a song, telling how I discovered it, and providing interesting information about it. Then I will include several tables with statistics of the Rising Star game.

Starting in May, I started to create a playlist to keep track of the last songs I commented on in my posts. It will be useful for me not to doubt if I had already talked about a song before or not. The last song is Barracuda of the band Heart.

My song of choice on Spotify for today's post is Tu Amor of the legendary argentine artist Charly Garcia and Pedro Aznar.

In my early years of life, I had a strong influence from my mother when listening to my first music. I remember when I was between 5-7 years old, my mother had a speaker on the computer and used to play songs from her childhood loudly around the house. At that time, I didn't understand much, but I liked the style of the songs.

Among the artists he listened to were Charly Garcia, Andres Calamaro, Miguel Abuelo, Spinetta and bands like Los Abuelos de la Nada, Sui Generis, Seru Giran and Rata Blanca. Many of them are the most important artists in the history of Argentine rock.

Taking myself back four years, I started listening to a lot of national rock, especially to the band Los Abuelos de la Nada, which completely awakened my interest in the genre. I heard many people say that Charly García was the number one of national rock, and until that moment I didn't understand why. So I set out to listen to all of his music, and ended up being completely impressed to discover that almost all of the iconic songs of my childhood had been created by this genius.

From that moment on, I became a complete fan, to the point of listening to all the songs on his albums, with my favorite being his creation Clics Modernos which had songs like Los Dinosaurios, Ojos de Videotape, Soy un Extraño, No Me Dejan Salir and Plateado sobre Plateado.

While still in his solo career, Charly Garcia teamed up again with an old acquaintance from Seru Giran to create a new album. They created the album Tango 4, which featured hits like "Tu Amor," "Mientes," and "Solo Dios Sabe."

“Tu Amor” is a song composed by bassist Pedro Aznar and released years later with iconic Argentine artist Charly García. It was released in 1991 as part of the album Tango 4. The song was a smash hit at the time and, over time, has accumulated more than 28 million plays on YouTube and 67 million on Spotify.
