Rocket 69: Todd Rhodes - My musical choice of the day and Rising Star Statistics

In this section, I will no longer be handing out STARBITS, as those entries are not allowed. However, I will continue to share high-quality songs, share how I discovered them, and share some interesting facts about them. To top it all off, I will also include several tables with the statistics compiled by the Rising Star game.

Since May, I have been creating a playlist to keep track of the latest songs I have discussed in my posts. This will help me remember whether I have already talked about a song before or not. The most recent one is (Rap) Superstar from the iconic band Cypress Hill with Eminem and N.O.R.E.

My song of choice on Spotify for today's post is Rocket 69 from the american pianist Todd Rhodes.

My story with the song began about six or seven years ago, when I saw my brother playing a rather strange game that caught my attention: Fallout 4. I don't remember exactly how it happened, but I asked my father to buy me that game, and I think he got it on Mercado Libre (our Amazon).

The first time I played, I was pretty scared because I didn't understand much about the game and there were enemies like zombies. Plus, the difficulty increased when I entered areas where I ended up losing my life due to radiation or other things I didn't understand at the time. So my first experience with the game was to stop playing for a few weeks.

A few years later, when I saw a YouTube video that more or less explained what the game was about and I understood its mechanics better, I decided to take courage and play it. The truth is that I loved the theme of the game, and in a few weeks I finished completing its story mode. Despite this, I hadn't managed to fully immerse myself in the whole world.

Fast forward about three years, and I became curious about one of the most highly regarded games in the series: Fallout New Vegas. I love platinum trophies, so I didn't hesitate to buy a PlayStation 3 and the game in physical format to do so, spending a considerable amount of money.

Fallout New Vegas ended up becoming one of my all-time favorite games, thanks to its setting, story, and beautiful soundtrack featuring various artists from the 60s and 70s. After finishing it, I ended up playing Fallout 3, Fallout 76, and then went back to Fallout 4 to get the platinum trophy.

While playing Fallout 4, I had discovered through its other installments, with my previous experience, that turning on the game's radio stations makes it much more entertaining, since in my first playthrough I had played the game without turning on any stations on the Pip Boy.

That's how I ended up listening to my choice for today: Rocket 69 by American artist Todd Rhodes. It's quite fun to listen to in tense situations, because it adds a touch of humor to every horrible situation in the game.

This wasn't the only song I discovered thanks to this installment, as you can also add A Wonderful Guy by Tex Beneke, Civilization by Danny Kaye, Dear Hearts and Gentle People by Bob Crosby, and Crazy He Calls Me by Billie Holiday.
