Great topic man I’ve not seen the interview but it’s profound thinking for sure! We definitely have to separate pleasure and joy and I’m going to look at certain things in my life to make sure that I’m doing things for joy not pleasure.

I hear you on buying things - I rarely buy things besides food anymore and it’s challenging. For example I want to get another gun for my needs, likely some type of rifle but I can’t justify the cost for it yet. I’m saving money for it but it’s tough to look at the prices and spend the money. I know I need one for the future but I can’t bring myself to get one even though I can absolutely afford it lol
