On today's talk, I would love to rant about something.
There is this group of people formed as a company that annoys me so much with their attitude and actions.
These sets of people are the electricity supply company.
They have this fraud like character that the authoritarian in my country has failed to address.
Everyone could agree on the importance of light, and without light supply, a place doesn't look bright nor function well.
So, I believe these electricity supply companies know their worth in the country.
Then, they use their worth to play games.
A month ago, the whole state was in darkness because they vandalised the upline poles to supply light to the state.
This electricity supply company did nothing about it.
Infact, I learnt that a few days before the news the same electricity supply company collected its bill from some people in some parts of the city, they stopped collecting after learning about the light issue, before the state governor repaired the up line poles.
The light was connected back, and we started enjoying light all thanks to the state governor because the electricity company was not ready to do any repairs.
Before the repair, we normally get light 3 days in a week, but after the repair, they gave us light every day.
We thought they had changed, not knowing they were playing games.
Then, they came and collected bills and disconnected the light of those who didn't pay.
Just immediately after the disconnection, they supplied light.
People who didn't pay on seeing the light called them back the next day and paid.
They connected their light back, and we all enjoyed it together for a day.
The next day, they seized the light, which turned to days without light.
This is their attitude just immediately after successfully collecting the bill for light supply.
They will come deceiving with steady light supply again when they want to collect the light bill, and we all will blindly pay again.
History keeps repeating itself with no change.
I don't even know the special charm they hold that makes that work for them every time with no challenge.
But this annoys me, and I can't do much about it as well.
All I can do now is pen it down.
