What is bad is bad and also good 😏

We are all humans, and we have different perspectives on how we see things. To some people, what is generally seen as a thing can be seen as the right thing, and that is very normal. But, this does not mean that we cannot speak out when someone is going down the wrong path, even when we know that the person sees the path as harmless....after all, an adult takes full responsibility for their actions.

I got on social media early in the morning and was met with a disturbing topic. It was about a skit maker who posted a clip of his wife's surgery process online. Yes, it was mere content according to him, but the world, including myself, has not taken it lightly at all because the video contains a lot, especially the cries of the wife.

Well, the video is about how his wife survived the surgery and appreciation to God, but that was too much to put out to the world. It no longer portrays the reason it was put out because it looked staged. Of course, setting a camera to cry is fake. I do not mean being caught on camera; I mean setting it up yourself to cry is 100% fake.

Just like something that trended some weeks ago about a lady filming herself (selfie), with her dad in the coffin, with cotton wool in his nose and ears (dead), and crying about missing her late dad already. Do you know what it means to video a corpse already dressed for final respects and put it out on social media? That is a taboo!

This may look simple to non-Africans reading this, but in this part of the world, we place respect and boundaries on many things. People are chasing clout these days and doing anything to get engagement, but that is very bad!

Thanks for reading.
