"Introvert Talks" is meant to be a new initiative or theme, where I myself as an introvert, just talk about reflections and thoughts about my life, or maybe share more personal stuff. :)
This is my weekly post under this "Introvert Talks" theme and let's see where it takes me and us.
Before I start on my thoughts this week, I was looking for a community that better fits my content for this post, and I actually found this Rant, Complain, Talk community! Haha! There's really everything on Hive! You see, most of my Introvert Talks posts are usually about reflections and it's just appropriate to park them there, but this time, I felt that it was just a random rambling of thoughts and probably it's more talk and perhaps a little complaining. :P
Alright, the first thing I wanted to write about is Hive Fest. @shawnnft and @ph1102 both mentioned to me recently, and I managed to check around and found out that it's held in mid Oct in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia! That's like 1 hour flight away from me! Unfortunately, the dates overlapped with one of the trips that I have booked in advance so I won't be able to make it. It's actually a little disappointing because it's so rare that Hive Fest is held so near to where I am based in, and I would likely have gone if I didn't book and paid for the conflicting trip already. I guess there's always next year - let's see where it will be held in 2026.
The second thing that I wanted to mention is about my upcoming busy schedule. Personally, I am quite a chill guy and don't like really to be too busy because it gets stressful and then I don't get enough rest, I don't have time or even become too tired to exercise, and then my mood becomes cranky. I am sure most people would get what I mean. But we don't get what we want in life all the time. Haha. Starting the coming week and for the most parts of June, my schedule is looking packed with stuff and the only consolation is that all the hectic stuff will be over in June (hopefully) and things will become more normalised from end June onwards.
Finally, it's about health. I recently went on a trip and shortly after I returned, I fell sick. It's always a lousy feeling when one is sick, but thankfully, I visited the doctor, dutifully took the medicine, and have recovered 99%. But for the most part of the week, I was getting on my life, be it chores at house, or emails at work, being semi-sick. Thinking back, I am kinda thankful that I didn't fall sick during the trip (so I was really able to enjoy it), and I could claim the medical expenses because I bought travel insurance.
Alright, that's about it for my random ramblings this week. Let's hope we all have an awesome week ahead! See ya!
