The story is wonderful. I enjoyed reading it because I also had a dog that would not leave me. On one of my trips through the forest, I was attacked by other dogs, and to save me, he fought them while I had to run away. The dogs were huge and he was small. I looked for him later and he was gone. He arrived 3 days later, injured, and died quickly. Since then, I have not wanted to have a pet because I was very sad.
