I put the Ecency app button in the spot where Facebook used to be, and I put the Web2 apps in a folder haha

By habit I would open my phone and find Facebook, so when I installed Ecency I placed the App Icon in the spot where the Facebook icon used to be. Even now, if I want to use Facebook I have to open a folder and then click FB.

By putting the Ecency app there I always remind myself I should be curating on Hive, and I try to use it often. Additionally I have noticed that Ecency uses much less Data than Facebook. Facebook uses far too much data. I must stop using it! 52GB!! On wifi, but still that much data used by an app is bonkers.

Wow that's a kind of reminder that you always have to be on Ecency all the time no matter what other app is there. Just got to know about it this way.

Well it is good to balance work and leisure and not let social media interfere too much. But digital presence has a cost and its our phone bill, our electricity, our time, our attention, our thoughts... at least here on Hive we are in control of our content :) !PIZZA
