I won’t lie, if I ever see 100k Hive Power in my account, I might just sit quietly for some minutes. Not even shouting, just thinking. Because that kind of level is not small, especially for someone who knows how it feels to start from almost nothing.
When I first came to Hive, everything looked confusing. I didn’t understand how rewards worked, why some posts did well and others didn’t. There were days I felt like I was just posting into empty space. So if I ever reach that level of 100k Hive Power, I know I won’t forget that feeling.
The first thing I would do is use it to support people like me, especially new users. Not just voting blindly, but actually reading what they write. Sometimes, one small support can give someone hope to continue. I remember how even a small reward once made me happy, not because of the money, but because someone noticed me.
I would also take my own growth more serious. Having that kind of power means people will pay more attention to what you do. So I wouldn’t want to just post anything. I would try to write better, share more honest experiences, and be more careful with my words. My parents always said, “When more eyes are on you, carry yourself well.” I think that applies here too.
Another thing I would focus on is building real connection. Hive is not just numbers and rewards, it’s people. I would comment more, support others, and be part of communities that are actually growing. Because I’ve seen that when you connect with people genuinely, the journey becomes easier and more meaningful.
Of course, I will also think about the future. I won’t rush to withdraw or misuse the rewards. I will try to grow it more, maybe power up consistently and let it build. I’ve learned that patience matters a lot in this space.
At the end, having 100k Hive Power is not just about having influence, it’s about how you use it. It can either lift others or just sit there doing nothing.
If I ever get there, I just hope I don’t forget the early days, because that memory will guide me to use it the right way.
