Life is designed in such a way that when defining it, it's not complete if the struggles, challenges, and distractions are not mentioned. These are what complete life, and it's just as natural as that.
Staying focused in the midst of life's challenges, especially in the form of distractions, can be very demanding, but it's what is required of humans if they want to succeed in life or achieve a set goal.
The methods by which I stay focused:
Working according to a breakdown work style: In my daily schedule, where I have a lot to do either online or offline, one of the ways I stay focused on completing my tasks is by aligning my day with a breakdown pattern that matches the size or capacity of work to be done for that day. Doing it bit by bit helps my attention not to be easily pulled out of the scene, except it's an event that I can't completely avoid. With this bit-by-bit work pattern, I always make sure to finish the portion I'm handling before the stipulated time, without allowing laziness in the form of tiredness to take over. My offline work is such that I usually do the bigger part in the morning, so every morning, I make it a must to tackle that part of it before it gets to the afternoon. With this, once I’ve accomplished that, it feels as good as having a completed day.
Proper time management: To be very honest, this has been a difficult task for me, especially because sometimes electricity comes at times I didn’t expect, and it ends up disorganising my plans. But regardless, I stay focused whenever my time management skills are intact, as they help me run my work bit by bit according to what I’ve calculated for the day.
Are distractions only centred on work and digital life? No, sometimes we face challenges that sweep us off our feet and end up killing the morale we had, leaving us off track and sometimes taking us back to square one. These challenges are sure to happen from time to time, and being aware that they’re going to happen one day helps us to stand firm when tackling them whenever they come. This awareness helps us not to lose focus and, even if we get distracted, the effect won’t be felt as heavily. This is how I handle such situations. I try as much as possible to keep my calm while I go about tackling the life issue.
