Hive is a beautiful and enjoyable place to be, for those who see it that way.

I've always said it that being on Hive is like owning a business, and if you want the business to grow, you'll have to be committed, consistently nurture and build it up.

A newbie who really wants to grow on Hive must show all working - be part of what is happening in the ecosystem, join communities of interest and engage. Also, patience is key. You can't build if you aren't patient, and committed too.

Again, Hive isn't a get-rich platform so anyone coming in with that mindset will definitely be discouraged and leave even before they started. Unfortunately, that's the case of some people who left.

I understand that it can be discouraging when your contents do not earn good rewards as expected, I do feel same way too, sometimes. However, one thing I've learned from the few years of being here is that curation isn't actually 💯 guaranteed. Yes, some users earn good rewards for their contents, I believe they worked for it, any way.

Just so you know, people use their HP to support whomever they want. If you have the lucky charm to have them support you, then enjoy it.
