The River, the Baby Duck, and the Power of Not Giving Up

Greetings to all the readers here

Sometimes life offers us the greatest lessons from small creatures that are not even human. Today, while scrolling through YouTube Shorts, I came across a video that really caught my attention.

It showed a mother duck crossing a river, followed closely by four little ducks. Three of them managed to follow their mother smoothly, but one baby duck struggled. The little one was carried away by the strong flow of water and drifted to the opposite side of the well.

I began watching the video more sincerely because I was worried about what would happen to that poor baby duck. It kept trying again and again to jump out of the well, but every attempt failed. The flowing water pushed it farther and farther away from its mother, making the situation look even more hopeless.

At that moment, I was really hoping someone would come and rescue the baby and let it reunite with the mother. But the video kept going on, and the baby duck continued trying. Finally, after many struggles, it was able to overcome the well and reunite with its mother and three siblings.

If you look at the video, it was quite emotional. I could have just left a comment and moved on, but instead, I felt there was a real lesson to learn from that baby duck. Life is not easy for any one of us. The only thing we should do is never give up. If we keep fighting through challenges, one day we will win just like that baby duck did.

Just imagine what that little one must have felt when it saw its siblings and mother drifting away from it. It must have been very scary, but still, it kept trying and never gave up until it succeeded.

Similarly, we humans, who call ourselves the most intelligent creatures on this planet, should never give up, no matter how tough life gets. I have learned this lesson, and I am sharing it here so that anyone reading this can take inspiration from that baby duck too.

Thank you.

Very inspiring and motivating @md-rayyan, giving up midway in our struggles is not the best way to achieve success in life and the baby duck set an example with it's resilience.

This is so touchy but thank God the end was great for the mother duck 🦆 and her chick 🐥🐣🐣.

This is indeed a big lesson to everyone one of us. There will always be a way through our struggles in life even if it delays.

Thanks for sharing 😇
