Today I will write on a contest in India united community: A habit that Change my life

That word "TIME" is the most valuable gift God has given to us as human being. We all have 24 hours (1,440 minutes or 86,400 seconds )to spend each day, but at the end we achieve different results. Why is that so? It's because others uses their time well, while others don't.
For some of us who has been a victim of inappropriate time management we know what we missed. I used to wonder why my mates seemed to always accomplish so much in a day and I always fall behind schedule. It all changed when I realized that time management was what I didn't apply in my life. One of my mentor was said that our habit determines our destiny.
Those days I used to wake up without plans for the day, immediately I wake up I first go to my phone after that I just take task randomly and allow distraction to control my life. Social media was the main problem, it consumes my morning, some unimportant activities took over my afternoon and in the evening I end up complaining, trying to shift blames sometimes, looking at how thr day was will just get me annoyed that I was busy but not productive.

Everything changed for good when I decided to take full control of my life back from my old self. I had a discussion with my boss and he took time to explain well from experience how he was able to manage his own time and how I can manage my own time. After learning that day I started my own method with what he said.
Before I sleep in the night I write a list of what I will do the next day. Since I was used to looking at my phone when I wake up, I did something special from what my boss told me, I used my daily task and update it in my to-do list on my phone, when thr alarm rings it will pop up my list and that's the first thing I will see when I look at my phone, I set the alarm every 3 hrs (why I did that because I was just starting I needed to do everything possible to ensure that I focus). This small step gradually change everything and by the Grace of God I can confidently say I manage my time very well.
The first major change I noticed was clarity, instead of waking up confused, I wake up strong with boldness that I know what to do that day, I know where to start and where to stop. It gave me direction and made me to be disciplined. Sometimes I ask myself "is this me?". The next was saying "no" to anyone that wants to bring anything that will distract me from following my list. This made me feel the power I now have over my life.
Task that uses to give me tough time was done in few hours and because of better time management I focus more on my programing life which by the help of the time management I did I become better on it.
I can now tell someone with boldness that time management is a habit that rewards us every seconds of our life, because we make every second count. It turns your stress into strength.
The best advise I will conclude this with is: be consistent, it wasn't easy at first, but I saw the better future of it and I tried everything possible to ensure I achieve it.
Start today, there's no time
Do it as if without doing it, you won't be allowed to see tomorrow.
