I wonder if people in real combat keep score. I guess whatever motivates you is good, but as the story says, it's lives for points. This did remind me of the classic Star Wars scene when the Falcon is under attack from TIE fighters.

        I love that scene, and that was definitely a big inspiration for these guys. I tend to read fantasy novels, but I have been in the market for a good sci-fi book to read, just to help gain a bit more of an idea. Not so much to replicate it, but to maybe give me a few hints on what I can potentially do a bit differently.
