Charlie Kirk

Hello!

Today I want to write about something very sad. Charlie Kirk has passed away. He was only 31 years old and he died this week during a public event in Utah. It was shocking news for many people because he was very young, very active, and a strong voice in the political debate of the United States.

Charlie was the founder of Turning Point USA and became known for speaking to students and young people about his ideas. Many agreed with him, many disagreed, but what is true is that he had energy and was always trying to push young people to get involved. He had podcasts, media, speeches, and debates everywhere. He was not afraid of controversy.

His death happened in front of people during one of his events, and this makes everything even more heavy. We still don’t know all the details, but it looks like another case of political violence. It is hard to accept how dangerous it is now to speak in public and defend your opinions.

I think what we can take from his life is that he never stayed silent. Even if people called him extreme or polarizing, he kept speaking. He believed in his cause. That is something we can all learn: to have courage to express ourselves.

But at the same time, his death reminds us how fragile things are. Free speech should not be a risk for your life. Debates should be with words, not with bullets.

For his family, friends, and followers, this is a deep tragedy. He leaves behind people who loved him and who will feel his absence every day.

Even if you agreed or not with him, the lesson is clear: we need less hate, more respect, and to protect the space where ideas can be shared without fear.

Rest in peace Charlie Kirk.
Stay safe out there!
