🎶 A Very Bonus ALT2K Wednesday! 💿 Gene & Ashlee’s DailyJams Returns! 2000’s Pop Punk Tunes! 🎸
It’s Wednesday and I haven’t done a Alt2k bonus post in like 6 months. Well I’m hanging out with the lady and she was done to pick some tunes and post. For those new here I used to do ALT2K Wednesday where me & my girlfriend each pick a DailyJam & a BonusJam each, usually a theme overall and both pick separate artists. Probably won’t be doing it often but here are some ALT2K tunes for ya!
We lean into the pop side of 2000’s alt rock
Picking “Pop Punk” acts. Ashlee picks Good Charlotte & I go with Yellowcard to try and keep it in same style. Since both bands have new music we’ll change it up and out DailyJam will be from 2002/2003 but our BonusJam will be from from the last few years.
How ironic! Both bands are touring together this fall in Australia. Good Charlotte are huge in Australia, all the albums that bombed in USA after the mega huge 2002 record. But Australia they kept having huge hits and even hosted the Australia version of The Voice. Well The twins did (Joel & Bengi).
