Hoy quiero compartir con ustedes mi día. La corriente eléctrica estaba programada de 6 a 9 de la mañana, pero yo me demoré un poco en la cama porque pasé mucho calor durante la noche y quería dormir con el ventilador. Me levanté a las 8:39, apenas quedaban 20 minutos para preparar el almuerzo, calentar agua para bañar a Lukas y hacer café y desayuno.
Me levanté corriendo, sin siquiera cambiarme, lavarme los dientes o la cara. Puse la cafetera, cociné unas pechuguitas de pollo en la olla y arroz en el fogón. En seguida Lukas se despertó y le di su yogur de desayuno. @valderalazaro me ayudó mucho con la preparación del almuerzo mientras yo cambiaba a Lukas y lo vestía. Luego me di una ducha rápida y nos arreglamos ambos para salir.
Fuimos al centro de Matanzas, a la calle del medio, que es como nuestro bulevar local. Visitamos algunas tiendas y traté de hacer gestiones con mi tarjeta para compras en dólares, pero la falta de corriente y otros problemas hicieron que no pudiéramos resolverlo todo. Después nos sentamos en la heladería del Hotel del Louvre para refrescarnos del sol y disfrutamos un helado de fresa que pudimos pagar por transferencia, aunque los trabajos nos pagan con tarjeta no siempre nos dejan pagar en transferencia en muchos lugares
De vuelta caminando, compré unas galletitas de limón y gelatina para la merienda de Lukas. Al llegar a la casa, nos sentamos un rato en el teatro Sausto, y Lukas se quedó dormido en el coche. Llegamos a casa alrededor de las 3:15 p.m., seguimos preparando la comida, y cuando la luz se fue a las 6 p.m., nos fuimos a la bahía a tomar un poco de vino blanco. Lukas disfrutaba viendo el mar y no paraba de gritar "agua" cuando vio el mar
Lo más especial del día fue nuestra primera videollamada con nuestra amiga @cathyarrow y su esposo @bradleyarrow , que viven en Canadá. Ver su alegría al conocernos fue muy emotivo. @cathyarrow conoció a mi esposo @valderazaro en el hotel, pero nunca nos había visto a mí ni a Lukas. Fue hermoso sentir todo el amor y cariño que nos da, y doy gracias a Dios por poner personas tan sinceras y amorosas en nuestro camino.
Al volver a casa, Lukas comió, se bañó y ya está durmiendo. Ha sido un día lleno de calor, caminatas, pequeños retos con la electricidad, pero también de amor, encuentros especiales y momentos que recordaré con alegría.

Today I want to share my day with you. The electricity was scheduled from 6 to 9 a.m., but I stayed in bed a little longer because it was so hot during the night and I wanted to sleep with the fan. I got up at 8:39 a.m., leaving only 20 minutes to prepare lunch, heat water for Lukas’s bath, make coffee, and breakfast.
I got up in a rush, without even changing, brushing my teeth, or washing my face. I started the coffee, cooked some chicken breasts in the pot, and made rice on the stove. Lukas woke up right away, and I gave him his yogurt for breakfast. @valderalazaro helped me a lot with lunch while I changed Lukas and dressed him. Then I took a quick shower and we both got ready to go out.
We went to downtown Matanzas, to “Calle del Medio,” which is like our local boulevard. We visited some shops, and I tried to take care of an issue with my dollar card, but the power cuts and other obstacles made it difficult to solve. Afterward, we stopped at the ice cream shop at the Hotel del Louvre to cool off from the sun and enjoyed a strawberry ice cream, which we could pay for via transfer , Although our jobs pay us by card, many places don't always allow us to pay by bank transfer.
On our way back, I bought some lemon cookies and gelatin for Lukas’s snack. At home, we sat for a while at the Sausto Theater, and Lukas fell asleep in the stroller. We got home around 3:15 p.m., continued preparing food, and when the electricity went out at 6 p.m., we went to the bay to enjoy some white wine. Lukas loved the sea and

The most special part of the day was our first video call with our friend @cathyarrow and her husband @bradleyarrow , who live in Canada. Seeing her so happy to meet us was very emotional. Cathy met Lázaro at the hotel, but she had never seen me or Lukas before. It was beautiful to feel all the love and affection she gave us, and I thank God for putting such sincere and loving people in our lives.
When we got back home, Lucas ate, took a bath, and is now sleeping. It has been a day full of heat, walks, small challenges with electricity, but also love, special moments, and memories I will cherish
