Como verán en la historia ella pasa por una cosa que cambia su vida, la afectará no solo emocionalmente, también físicamente. AMARAT is the band Iris belonged to. This band is very well-known in Buskeria for having such top-notch members. Each of them was part of a different band before joining AMARAT and they were the best in their respective groups. But due to life's circumstances, they all went their separate ways. Later, they formed a new band, which is this one. Imagine what happens when you combine the best of each band—well, you create a perfect mega-band. For a long time, Iris was the lead singer and one of the main guitarists. Many considered her the face of the band, even though the others were among the best around. Together they had great times and traveled all over Buskeria. But this group, despite being so good at what they did, was very strict with its members.

To stay at the top, each member had to give their all. That's why it was common for some to leave and then be replaced by others. The band's motto is that no one is indispensable, and to be in the group, you had to give your best. Iris was the voice, but it was all for naught, because even she was kicked out of the band Amarat. She was one of its founders, so it was very difficult and sad to leave the group. But there was no other option; she wasn't the one in charge, in fact, nobody was. Everything was decided by a group vote, and no one was above it. But why was she kicked out of the group if she had the best voice?

AMARAT es la banda a la que pertenecía Iris. Esta banda es muy conocida en Buskeria por tener unos integrantes de lujo. Cada uno formaba parte de una banda antes de unirse a AMARAT y eran los mejores de sus respectivos grupos. Pero por cuestiones de la vida todos se separaron. Pero más tarde crearon una nueva banda, que es esta. Imagina lo que pasa cuando unes lo mejor de cada banda, pues si, se crea una mega banda perfecta. Por largo tiempo Iris fue la voz de la banda y una de las principales guitarristas. Muchos la consideraban la cara de la banda, y eso que los demás eran de lo mejor que había. Juntos pasaron grandes momentos y viajaron por todo Buskeria. Pero este grupo a pesar de ser tan bueno en lo que hacía era muy estricto con los miembros.

Para poder mantenerse en el top de lo mejor cada integrante tenía que aportar lo mejor de si mismo. Por eso era común que a menudo algunos se fueran y luego fueran remplazados por otros. El lema de la banda es que nadie es imprescindible y para estar en el grupo había que dar lo mejor. Iris era la voz pero no sirvió de nada, porque incluso hasta ella fue sacada de la banda AMARAT. Ella fue una de sus fundadoras así que fue muy difícil y triste dejar el grupo. Pero no había opción, ella no era quien mandaba, de hecho nadie lo hacía. Todo se elegía mediante votación del grupo y no había nadie por encima. ¿Pero por que fue sacada el grupo si era la mejor voz?

The answer isn't short or tedious. She had been battling a vocal cord condition for a long time, which prevented her from singing with the same intensity and tone as before. As much as she fought to be herself, the moment came when it was clear she could no longer sing. Because the band AMARAT was so demanding, she could no longer fulfill her role. So she was replaced by a new guitarist and singer. She understood why they made the decision, but it was still very difficult to leave them. Little by little, she completely lost her voice, and after her last surgery, she was informed that it would be permanent; she would never be able to sing again.

Once AMARAT let her go, she truly understood how these events had changed her life. She had grown up singing and playing, but now she would never be able to sing again. But she's not someone who gives up easily. There was a reason she became the best in the band, and you could only join AMARAT if you were the best. So she looked for other ways to make a living as a singer. She underwent more surgeries even though doctors had already said it wouldn't be possible, and she tried herbal and natural treatments since conventional methods didn't work. But even then, she couldn't recover her voice.

La respuesta no es corta ni cansilla. Ella venía luchando desde hacía mucho con una enfermedad de las cuerdas vocales. Una vez que AMARAT la despidió ella comprendió realmente como estos eventos han cambiado su vida. Creció cantando y tocando pero ahora no podrá cantar nunca más. Pero ella no es alguien que se rinda así como así. Por algo llegó a ser la mejor de la banda, y solo podías entrar a AMARAT si eras la mejor. Así que buscó otras formas de poder salir adelante como cantante. Se hizo más operaciones aunque ya los médicos habían dicho que no sería posible, se hizo tratamientos verdes y naturales ya que los métodos normales no funcionaban. Pero aún así no pudo lograr recuperar la voz.

Once she understood that her voice wouldn't return, she realized that perhaps she hadn't been looking for the right thing. If her voice was gone, she had to analyze what other talents she possessed that weren't related to singing and that would allow her to continue doing what she loved. She examined herself and discovered that it had always been right in front of her; she was a guitarist, not just a singer. So, the next step was to try to rejoin Amarat, but as a guitarist. However, she was in for a disappointment. When she went to see them about rejoining, the band told her that while she excelled at singing, the guitarist position was already filled by someone better than her. It wouldn't be possible for her to rejoin.

Así que lo siguiente que tendría que hacer era tratar de regresar a AMARAT pero como guitarrista. Pero se iba a llevar una decepción, cuando fue a verlos para regresar el grupo le dijo que ella destacaba en la voz, pero el puesto de guitarrista ya lo tenía alguien mejor que ella. Anyone in her place would have been disillusioned and given up, but that wasn't her. With no possibility of singing again and no chance of rejoining Amarat, she understood that the solution was to be independent. So she took her guitar and went to the beach. There, she found a public area and started playing. Although she couldn't sing, she could still play. Someone walked by and gave her $100—her first $100 since leaving the band. And that's when the universe confirmed that this would be her new life: a street guitarist. Although she lost some things, she gained others. And the best part for her is that, because she didn't give up, she now has the opportunity to continue doing what she loves and make a living from it.
