Ella es una cantante, pero con cierto matices. Quiere hacer algo con su carrera. Si desean conocer de qué se trata les hago la invitación de leer la historia, espero que les guste. Arrancamos.

Rhona is a singer who knows how to make the most of her time and moments of fame. Her entire musical career has been built on this. When someone releases a new song that becomes a hit and explodes internationally, she knows it's her moment to act. She takes the song and puts her own spin on it to create a remix. In this way, she rides the wave of the song's success and can quickly amplify its popularity. She also often sings songs that were successful in previous years and revives them with a remix.

This strategy has brought her both advantages and disadvantages. On the one hand, she has managed to capitalize on the fame of others, earning a lot of income and staying in the public eye as an excellent singer who makes a living from remixes. That's the good part of everything she does. But the downside is the constant criticism. Every singer has very loyal fans who only see that song sung by them. When they see someone else singing it, they see it as a copy or as someone stealing the song's fame to take advantage of the moment.

Rhona es una cantante que sabe cómo aprovechar bien el tiempo y los momentos de fama. Toda su trayectoria musical se ha basado en eso. Cuando alguien lanza una canción nueva que tiene éxito y la rompe a nivel internacional de forma masiva ella sabe que es su momento de actuar. Toma la canción y la versiona a su modo para crear un remix. De esa forma ella se contagia de ese momento de auge de la canción y puede amplificar su tema rápidamente. También suele cantar canciones que funcionaron en años pasados y la devuelve a la vida con un remix.

Esta estrategia le ha traído ventajas y desventajas. En el caso de las ventajas ella ha logrado capitalizar la fama de otros hacia así misma, de esa forma ha ganado muchos ingresos y se ha mantenido en la boca de muchos, como una excelente cantante que vive de los remixes. Esa es la parte buena de todo lo que hace. Pero lo malo son las criticas constantes. Cada cantante tiene fans muy fieles, que solo ven esa canción cantada por él. Cuando ven a otro cantando lo ven como una copia o como un robo de la fama de la canción para aprovecharse del momento.

And it's not just her most loyal fans; many in the industry criticize her for her style of copying and using the success of others for herself, instead of creating her own songs. Rhona has learned to live with both sides of the coin of what she does, because in her heart she knows she isn't copying anything, she's just creating an improved version with her own style of what someone else did. In a way, she thinks the singer should be grateful that she's giving more fame to their original song.

Although she's learned to live with it, lately she's been very disappointed. Some heavyweights in the industry have started calling her a content pirate. And to defend herself, she's had to raise her voice and almost go to court. She's not willing to be defamed. Most of the time she ends up winning the arguments, and there are more people who support her than those who hate her.

Y no son solo los seguidores más fieles, hay muchos de la industria que la critican por su estilo de copiar y usar el éxito de otros para si misma, en vez de crear sus propias canciones. Rhona ha sabido vivir con ambas caras de la moneda de lo que hace, porque en su corazón ella sabe que no está copiando nada, solo está creando una versión mejorada y con su propio estilo de lo que otro hizo. De cierta forma ella piensa que el cantante debería sentirse agradecido de que ella le esté dando más fama a su canción original.

Aunque ha sabido vivir con eso, últimamente se está decepcionando mucho. Pues algunos pesos pesados de la industria han comenzando a llamarla la pirata de contenido. Y ella para defenderse ha tenido que alzar la voz y casi llegar hasta los tribunales. Pues no está dispuesta a que se le difame. En la mayoría de las veces termina ganando ella las discusiones, y son más los que la apoyan que los que la odian.

Living in this constant litigation and seeing the criticism on social media, even though it's less than the positive, leaves her discouraged and mentally exhausted. She's free to continue creating that content, but the truth is, even though no one is directly stopping her, she no longer feels good doing it. She wants to get away from all of it, even though she's right. She prefers to give in and back down rather than continue in this dilemma.

She may be right, but the fact that music ceases to be music and becomes a source of hatred changes everything for her. She prefers to preserve her peace of mind rather than continue in the same situation; perhaps people will one day understand that she wasn't doing anything wrong. She thought all of this in her mind, but she hadn't yet taken the step to leave her previous singing style behind. Taking that step was the only thing that truly scared her. She didn't know what the future held for her or if she could even achieve the fame she had enjoyed many times using her technique.

Vivir en ese litigio contante y ver las criticas en las redes sociales, aunque sean menos que las positivas la tienen desanimada y agotada mentalmente. Es libre de seguir creando ese contenido, pero la verdad aunque nadie se lo impida directamente no se siente bien ya haciéndolo. Quiere alejarse de todo eso, a pesar de ella tener la razón. Prefiere ceder y dar el brazo a torcer a seguir en ese dilema.

Puede que ella tenga la razón a su favor pero el hecho de que la música deje de ser música para ser motivo de odio cambia para ella el panorama. Prefiere conservar su paz mental a seguir en lo mismo, quizás las personas algún día entiendan que no hacía nada malo. Todo eso lo pensaba en su mente, pero aún no había dado el paso de dejar atrás su estilo de cantar anterior. Dar el paso es lo único que le daba miedo de verdad. No sabía qué pasaría con el futuro que le esperaba o si pudiera siquiera llegar a la fama que ha tenido muchas veces siguiendo su técnica.

Something helped her take the plunge; she couldn't quite do it on her own. It was her husband, Marco. Marco encouraged her that if she wasn't happy where she was or the way she was doing things, she should take the step to change. He had supported her in what she was doing before, but what he really wanted was to see her happy, and even if you're right, what you're doing makes you sad, the best thing is to change. That support was ultimately what made her decide. She changed her singing style from doing remixes to creating her own songs and original compositions. She may not be as famous as before, but living in peace is much more worthwhile. She will continue singing; no one can take that away from her.

Algo le ayudó a dar el paso, por ella misma no pudo del todo. Fue su marido Marco. Marco la animó a que si no se sentía bien en donde estaba o de la forma en que lo hacia que diera el paso de cambiar. El antes de la apoyó en lo que hacía, pero él lo que quería era verla feliz, y si aunque tengas razón lo que haces te pone triste lo mejor es cambiar. Ese apoyo fue finalmente lo que la hizo decidirse. Cambió su estilo de cantar haciendo remix a crear sus propias obras y canciones. Puede que no tenga tanta fama como antes, pero vivir en paz vale mucho más la pena. Seguirá cantando, eso nadie se lo quitará.
