Honestly a bit bummed at the turn out, if any of my friends already in have any friends here on Hive let em know about it! 15 players would be ideal, we have 8 or 9 right now. Let’s at least get to 10 so it’s 100 HBD prize! 🏆

The way a survival pool works is simple. Once your team looses two games you are eliminated. The last player standing wins pot! Since we will be doing it with 10 or so players, we will do two lost games to be eliminated instead of one. We will pick teams outta the 16 who win this week 1 weekend! Kinda odd but starting week 2 is a plus! You automatically don’t get a surprise loss week 1 and we will pick teams from the 16 who win week 1. I will do raffle (in posted video) to decide order of picks. Since we are looking like we won’t have more than 10-12 players and are picking outta the half of teams who win week 1, everybody should at least get a good or decent team! I expect a fun contest! Last Minute NFL POOL! 🏈 Survival Pool! 16 Teams Available (After Week 1 Games) to choose from! 10 HBD Entry! Winner Take All!
With a few key active users leaving Hive this past year it’s not likely to fill 32 spots in a season long football pool. Instead I’m hosting a survival pool where we can still go even if not all teams are taken. Long story short each player gets a team, whoever’s team is undefeated last wins pot normally but we will instead do two lost games to be eliminated not one! It will be a raffle style method where order of picks is decided by random. Example - player who gets first pick via raffle they can pick any team outta the 16 teams who win week 1 , second person can pick any team besides the one first player took and so on. Good teams often loose a random unexpected game so it probably won’t end up with “best team” winning. I thought this could be a fun alternative since we can do it with any amount of players.
