For Nineties Friday this week as it falls on Halloween day, I’m picking nineties tunes from a horror soundtrack! It’s kinda a cheesy film but it’s I Know What You Did Last Summer movie soundtrack! I’ll go #FourTuneFriday on Nineties Friday & pick 4 tunes for ya!
The teen horror classic came out summer 1997. Though I was only 13 I actually remember seeing it in theater! My sister who was way older and 23 at time took me. It was corny AF looking back but I looked up the Scream soundtracks and they are either lame or are not nineties. So no doubt Scream was better! But Soundtrack wise nope! I’ll pick 4 tunes off the soundtrack (1997)
& I’ll grab a couple bonus tunes from Scream 2 soundtrack! Also released in 1997. It’s too bad Scream 1 had a trash Soundtrack but that’s def the best movie! 🍿
Nothing too deep to dive into so I’ll skip the vlog today. Let’s get right into what I think are the best four tunes on this nineties horror movie soundtrack!
One of the songs was exclusive to the soundtrack, that would be The Offspring Tune! The Other three were on the bands previous full length records. Most the tunes are not spooky or anything but our opener is! The rest were just nineties tunes on the soundtrack.

Even though Scream has mostly lame soundtracks, Scream 2 did have prob the best song! For Bonus Tune it’s Nineties Bowie featuring Nine Inch Nails! I remember watching this video premiere on MTV! It was a Saturday morning and the Scream cast was on premiering music videos from artists on soundtrack. It just wasn’t great overall 🤣
