If you have followed me for some time, you probably know that I have been trying to rebuild my youtube account that suffered from low views. Well after realizing that insisting on finding my niche and my typical viewer actually goes against my nature, I stopped creating videos and kind of neglected my youtube channel.
Why did I start on Hive in the first place?
When I started on hive, I started to write posts mainly for myself to document what I found and thinking that maybe other people might be interested as well. This allowed me to create content for years because I actually enjoy doing it. I have so many ideas and interests that I can't just stick to one thing. I'm not a specialist, I'm a generalist and I like to evolve with technology and innovation.
With that back in memory, I've decided that I will do exactly the same on youtube and on Hive as well. I will stop doing what the guru's say about the algorithm and do the things that I enjoy doing. Write and create content about what I'm working on and what I'm researching, literally making it my online lab.
When I spend hours creating a video that fits the algorithm and then get 10 views, I kind of prefer to make a video that I enjoy doing and not care about the algorithm too much. It will be difficult to get less views anyways.
So this is the first video after the 25th change of topic in my channel. It's now decided, the channel will be about all the topics, about what I'm working on, about what I'm researching and what I'm developing. I don't care, I just want to have fun :-)
With @ph1102, I'm running the @liotes project.
