In Venezuelan Spanish, we have expressions that people from outside the country don't understand. Like the expression "I know the donkey is black because I have its hairs in my hand," which basically means that I have more experience than you in something and therefore I can say it with authority. Or the term "Cambur," which is banana in other parts of Latin America.
