RE: Splinterlands Is Changing and for the Better: Free-to-Play, Cooldown Rework, and Fairer Tournaments! (ENG/ITA)

The cooldown period will only be active in Survival Mode

Thanks for the update, didn't know this. Wasn't this the entire purpose of Survival Mode in the first place as a way to make cards more scarce. Now that mode is nothing more than just extra inflation and even a bigger required time investment that needs to be solved by 99% of the matches played by bots. It would be easier to just have players stake Cards on land to generate part of that reward pool passively instead of all the bots running.

Each time I think things can't get worse, they come up with ridiculous things like this. I do think that Frontier mode is a small step up though. The fact that it has limited cards makes it easier to grasp for new player. I don't know though that many will continue a long time and start to buy packs.

My dear friend, I completely agree with you about the cards, and I have repeatedly criticized the decision to tolerate bots, which, in my opinion, is counterproductive in a game with gameplay.
The big problem to be solved is the loss of the cards' game value.
If I can't sell my Byzantine Kitty, which is a strong summoner in the game, this is a problem that needs to be solved.
In my opinion, Splinterlands needs to focus on increasing the fun factor because that is the only way it can survive and/or grow, as web2 games do, which do not distribute earnings but only sell.
Frontier mode is a step in this direction, but there is still a lot to do...
