What a powerful read 💜 You're so right that stories shape our mindsets. What gets me is that media never stopped, it just swapped extremes. We went from "a woman should wait and be chosen" to "a woman should carry everything alone and needs no one," and both are unfair. Same with kids now: "let them fly, don't clip their wings" is lovely, but it can tip into pushing them away before they're ready and drive family bonds to an end. The truth was probably always in the middle
