In settings, you can toggle Show images if you want to see them. We improved that logic to properly work everywhere to minimize data usage which is crucial in some countries where data limit exist.

I want to see the images, but only in the posts.
Not in the feedโI don't want them there, and I don't want a placeholder there either.
Before, I only had the headline and some text, so I could see a lot more posts at once without having to scroll. Now, depending on the image size, I pretty much only see the placeholder.
I see, yes unfortunately we used to show images in posts and not in feed but that logic was not entirely working correctly so we improved overall logic to hide everywhere when hidden, including posts. We used to hide avatars also but we now showing avatars always because it is better UI for very small images.
Now the UI is for me very bad
