Happy Wednesday-Hump Day, everyone!
I mentioned yesterday about the Blessing Bag I received at ladies Bible study. There’s a lady who gives these out as her ministry. She gives them to Viney, who attends ladies Bible study and asks her to pass them along to each of the attendees. This was what was inside the bag I was given.
She usually includes a Christian book of some variety. Sometimes it’s a devotional, but this time it was an Amish fiction novel. There was a bookmark with The Lord’s Prayer on it along with a handmade ribbon bookmark with a heart shaped crystal. In addition, a crystal candy or potpourri bowl. However, there’s more!
There were various handmade cards with a Bible verse or an encouraging message along with envelopes. In addition to that were little tags in two sizes also handmade, with various family and Christian sayings and encouragement on them. Last but not least……… a letter……
A letter of encouragement with scripture verses to call upon and her prayers of hope, encouragement and peace among others for us. Kathy is obviously a special person to do this calling. I would not know who she is if I were standing next to her in line at the store! My hope is someday to actually meet her and let her know what a blessing she has been to me and many others. 😇🙏
Work today was busy! I accomplished all the day’s orders except for the last which was an exam only. I can accomplish that in under a minute in the morning.
The city of Everson is shutting off the water tomorrow for 6 + hours, right at the start of the day! This will greatly impact the restaurants in the area and make for us, having a restroom break interesting! I called city hall today to find out about the restroom situation at the city park. No worries-they’ve got porta potties! Oh joy! 🙄
Speaking of joy, enJOY some flowers from Saturday’s visit to My Nursery store!
