Quizá cuando escuchas yerba mate piensas en Argentina o quizá no, pero al menos yo lo hago y quiero contarles que hace un par de días mi esposo estaba viendo un video donde alguien estaba probando este té y me preguntó si queríamos probar y a mí me pareció buena idea, aunque primero quise preguntarle a mi amiga @mamaemigrante que aunque no es Argentina, vive allí hace un par de años y seguramente lo había probado antes y efectivamente me dijo que sí y que era un tanto amargo y además me dijo que algunas personas le ponen azúcar pero otros lo toman así.
Entonces mi esposo y yo todavía no decidíamos si comprarlo para probarlo hasta que fuimos a casa de unos amigos en diciembre y ellos tenían esto y prepararon un poco para nosotros, a mi esposo le gustó mucho, a mí me pareció que mi amiga tenía razón, es bastante amargo aún así puedo decir que me gusta. Luego al volver a casa, nos pusimos en la búsqueda en línea de unos lindos mates y además yerba mate para preparar en casa y encontramos unos que nos encantaron y decidimos comprarlos además también compramos varias muestras de yerba mate de distintos sabores para decidir cuál es nuestro favorito, todo por un precio de 124.90 zlotys incluyendo las bombillas lo que representa unos 31 dólares aproximadamente lo que me pareció un buen precio. Luego de unos pocos días de espera llegó nuestro pedido así que fuimos a buscarlo a la máquina y venía así en la caja como les muestro en las fotos, es decir bastante organizado, y además traía dos geniales portavasos.
Ya mi esposo había leído un poco sobre como prepararlo ya que como me dijo mi amiga prepararlo tiene su ritual jaja y aunque él no es experto se encargó de calentar agua y prepararlos e inmediatamente cuando me dio el mío yo decidí revolverlo y sé que el Argentino que me lea va a decir: qué vergüenza! Jajaja pero yo no había leído antes y mi esposo me dijo tarde que no tenía que revolverlo y que tenía que esperar un par de minutos antes de probarlo. Luego de probar un par de muestras y sin añadirle azúcar jajaja puedo decir que es bastante amargo, a mi esposo le encantó y ha tomado más que yo, yo no soy tan fan pero me gusta, aunque todavía no sé si probarlo con azúcar para que me encante de hecho todavía no decido o decidimos cual es nuestro favorito. Qué piensan ustedes? Han probado el mate?

Maybe when you hear yerba mate you think of Argentina or maybe not, but at least I do and I want to tell you that a couple of days ago my husband was watching a video where someone was trying this tea and he asked me if we wanted to try it and I thought it was a good idea, although first I wanted to ask my friend @mamaemigrante who although she is not from Argentina, she has lived there for a couple of years and surely had tried it before and indeed she said yes and that it was somewhat bitter and also told me that some people put sugar in it but others drink it like this.
So my husband and I were still undecided whether to buy it to try it until we went to a friends house in December and they had this and made some for us, my husband really liked it, I thought my friend was right, it is quite bitter yet I can say I like it. Then when we got back home, we went online looking for some nice mates and also yerba mate to prepare at home and we found some that we loved and decided to buy them plus we also bought several samples of yerba mate of different flavors to decide which is our favorite, all for a price of 124.90 zlotys including the bombillas which represents about $31 approximately which I thought was a good price. After a few days of waiting our order arrived so we went to pick it up at the machine and it came in the box as shown in the pictures, that is quite organized, and it also came with two cool cup holders.
My husband had already read a little bit about how to prepare it since as my friend told me preparing it has its ritual haha and although he is not an expert he took care of heating water and preparing them and immediately when he gave me mine I decided to stir it and I know that the Argentinian who reads me is going to say: how embarrassing! Hahaha but I hadn't read before and my husband told me late that I didn't have to stir it and that I had to wait a couple of minutes before tasting it. After trying a couple of samples and without adding sugar hahaha I can say that it is quite bitter, my husband loved it and has had more than me, I'm not that much of a fan but I like it, although I still don't know if I should try it with sugar to make me love it in fact I still haven't decided or we decided which one is our favorite.
