Hello friends, I prefer to drink coffee.

Now, I really enjoy black coffee, not so strong, in a short cup with a pinch of salt and sweetener or dark coffee with powdered milk whipped directly into the coffee. Or a cappuccino well solved in the machine.

How do I prepare it?

I strain it normally into the sachet and serve it in the short cup I put a pinch of salt and the sweetener envelope splenda, montfruit or failing that a teaspoon of sugar.

Nothing fancy, the pinch of salt rounds out, or balances the taste of good coffee. Have you tried the chocolate bars 70% dark cocoa with salt? The taste of coffee is more or less like this, it is a sweetness that comes out of counteracting the bitterness with salt, which in the mouth leaves a soft sweet, and kind on the palate... I invite you to try it @elizabethbit so that you understand, and tell me about your experience.

In fact, when the weather is cool, or when I go to the Venezuelan Andes, I add a touch of rum to the coffee to warm up, besides, once a year it doesn't hurt, try it and you will know if you like it or not.

There is now a worldwide trend around coffee, just like with wines.

There are special flavored coffees with denomination of origin of the coffee, if it is mountain, from more humid lands or dried and roasted in different processes and the variety of the coffee is lost sight of. I buy this type of coffee in still lifes or delis. In fact, here in my country Venezuela at Christmas time, they sell locally sourced ground coffee with spices, ready to boil and strain... it comes with cloves, star anise, cinnamon and nutmeg. It's super delicious.

The best thing about coffee is that young people are already giving up meeting to drink liquor and prefer to meet sharing a coffee, it's like a nothing to say and everything to say... It's fashion then!.

I happen to love coffee as well! I use an espresso machine to pull a couple of shots; then steam coconut milk. I have already at this point added some cocoa, and lately salt along with a touch of peanut butter syrup and salted caramel. It's lovely! I like salt in my coffee too. You should try adding a dash of paprika and/or turmeric as well. Yum!

Now your talking. I'm already hooked on cacao chocolates, my latest is Green & Black's 85% Organic dark chocolate, an expensive indulgence with it's own complex taste and superior health benefits as a bonus. I cannot have any of the commercial popular chocolate brands that barely pass themselves off as chocolate.
And yes, I have tried a little pinch of salt in my coffee.
