Thokara kha kha ky banda sikh da ey, thokara badamana nal teez hundi aen... (punjabi song reference)

Aam Jahe Munda by Permish Verma. I used to listen to this song on daily basis. It was the start of my university life, so yeah, the nostalgia is real.

Ironing is a girlish trait in Pakistani culture so it was my pro side I guess.....
these indoor things that pakistani girls do aint an issue for me like I am a very good cook for the few recipes I make.

I am already so so done with this "Pakistani Culture", I hate it the most. Like it is not the real way to live through. Moreover, it is not even alligned with the religion. We are just following everything like a herd, taught to us by the society. Norms this, norms that, duck your norms :)

Btw, you are so good with cooking. You have explained everything in detail, and it even looks delicious. Cooking is something I am afraid to do, once again because of my clumsy nature. But yeah, I can cook a karahi but it will not be a good one. LOL!

Sort:

norms norm norm..... DUCK DUCK DUCK lol

Here I am fighting a very hard battle to not accept DOWRY xD

I am told I must have atleast 10 lac if I don't wanna accept DOWRY lol
so the bride must have everything new? frige, bed, machines u name it.....

The point was never to less burden the other family and burden myself instead

The point is, a couple can live happily without materialist DOWRY stuff and when she finally come as part of a new family, she can buy whatever u think is needed.

THERE IS NO DUCKING NEED FOR EVERYTHING TO BE NEW lol

Things would have been so different, only if they understood the deen. Dowry, if cultural, is not permissible. Parentss or guardians can give but out of love and feasibility, not because of the societial demand. And what kind of asking is that "10 lac".
"The most blessed marriage is the one with the least burden (or expense)." Musnad Ahmad

Let the couple decide, what they want and how they want to live.

THERE IS NO DUCKING NEED FOR EVERYTHING TO BE NEW lol

OLX h na :)

10 lac doesn't even include anything. It's just like a security deposit to make sure the husband can afford everything new. While we don't want anything new

What the 🦆 lol xD
