My Actifit Report Card: March 15 2026

in Actifit8 days ago

A mediocre day on the trails as I could manage 4 miles on tired legs and very warm temperatures that made for a slow run.

The landscape has really greened up and a lot more birds and butterflies were active.
The early stretch was easy on the level pavement but my pace slowed quite a bit once I turned onto the Blowout Trail.
At least the quiet natural areas made the slow Trail much more enjoyable until I hit the pavement again for the easier miles back down home - not the best day but still good to be active.
Lulu and I finished with a couple of miles down by the river late in the afternoon.

The town and trails were busy so we had plenty of company on our 3 miles. Lulu was moving right along despite a few stops to check out the animal scents and mark her territory. My heart rate was about 100 bpm which is good for a level hike and it was a steady walk except for Lulu's dip and sip in the river.
