Me has recordado mi infancia. Mi padre era pescador. A veces se ausentaba una semana, a veces meses, buscando ganarse la vida para su familia.

Estoy seguro de que tuvo pensamientos como los que tienes ahora.

A la larga, valió la pena. Mantuvo a su familia: a su esposa y a sus cinco hijos. Hizo lo que tenía que hacer, igual que tú haces lo que tienes que hacer.

Mantente fuerte, amigo. La familia lo es todo. Tú tienes la tuya. Aférrate a ella. Te ayudará a superar cualquier cosa.

You write from the heart and that is beautiful.

You just reminded me of my childhood. My father was a fisherman. At times he could be gone for a week, sometimes for months on end. Looking to earn a living for his family.

I am sure he must have had thoughts like you are having now.

In the long run, it was worth it. He supported his family. His wife and his five children. He did what he had to do as you are doing what you have to do.

Stay strong my friend. Family is everything. You have yours. Hold onto that. It will get you through anything.
